Being in “Perfect condition” means something different for each one of us, there’s no ultimate standard. Understanding what perfect condition means for you is the first step to having it. Knowing and nurturing your perfection is important as you move through a not-so-perfect world.

How does one stay in a radiant state of being?

The first step to keeping your body in perfect condition is ensuring that you eat a healthy diet.

Eat Fresh not processed food across as many food groups as you can. Load up on fruits and vegetables, legumes, cereals, lean proteins, and dairy.

Eat what’s in season where you live, freshly grown food is sure to be packed with more nutrients. Grow your food if you can. Find a local farm stand or a market that carries local products.

Always choose an organic diet for the health of your perfect body. It will food lower your exposure to pesticides, antibiotics, and growth hormones.

Food is something that you need to live, but it’s also a gift. Sit down and feel deep gratitude that you can eat delicious food whenever you like. That’s not a privilege many have today.

Another important step to keeping your body in perfect condition is to get regular exercise.

Exercise has so many benefits; reducing your risk of developing chronic diseases, improving your mental health, and helping to maintain that perfect weight.

The best way to cultivate an exercise regime that is to find the ones you love.

For me, I love to dance like a banshee, hike up and down steep hills looking for shrooms, walk my dogs and build my core with Pilates and Gyrokinesis online.

If you want your mind calm and your well-being strong, move your body often.

Sound sleep is essential for good health, and not getting enough can lead to nightmares of trouble. People who don’t get enough REM sleep are grumpier, fatter, less focused, and prone to anxiety and numerous other malaises.

Sleep is required for perfect condition!

Here are a few tricks that work for different people:

  • Embrace a regular sleep schedule.
  • Create a relaxing bedtime routine that winds you down
  • Don’t look at your electronic devices right before shuteye time. The blue light is naughty.
  • Do use that device to listen to a meditative song or prose. (I listen to physics lectures at a slow speed).
  • Breathe deeply, Meditate
  • Medicate?
  • What’s yours?

Self- Esteem

Building a sense of self-worth and confidence helps you feel your perfect state of being. Some of your self-confidence is based on how you look, taking care of your skin & hair is important. Get your groove on!

Healthy hair is an important part of a person’s appearance. Be careful what you put on it.

Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner that is suited for your hair type; for instance, Redken.  It’s a soft shampoo & conditioner that is perfect for those with dry, brittle hair.

Blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons can damage hair with too much heat.

If you color your change your hair, do it with natural non-toxic green products.

I don’t color or blow mine anymore, It’s a gorgeous flow of grey, wavy, and in perfect condition.

Healthy skin is not only important for appearance and but it’s your BIGGEST ORGAN.

Limit your exposure to solar radiation and stay out of the sun. Too much sun can damage your skin and your hair.

Now that you’re in perfect condition, radiate it.

Show up for yourself and others. Take of yourself and nurture your body and soul. Do the same for others if you can. Get out & spend a few hours a week volunteering or taking care of an elder, making calls, or leading community initiatives.

Find simple things like singing or writing, or yodeling, anything that brings you relaxation and joy.
