How many of us have a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? How many of us know a child that has been diagnosed with autism? According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 68 children suffered from the disorder in 2010. It was 1 in 88 in 2008. It is more common in boys, doesn’t reflect intelligence and is definitely on the increase. What is causing our children to be afflicted so? Could it be something new in our environment?
